Susan West, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, Founder and CEO
Susan West is the CEO of QuadWest Associates, LLC. As a business consultant/coach, she provides HR consulting services, leadership coaching services, leadership development training and online leadership resources and tools for her client’s use. She brings over twenty five years of corporate executive, operational and human resource experience to her management consulting expertise. In her role as President and HR Consultant, Susan brings the perspectives and lessons learned from the positions she held as President of multimillion joint venture, Vice President of Midwest Region for a large Staffing company and Director of HR for a non-profit organization. Susan has her Master of Arts in Business Administration and a Bachelor’s in Business Administration/Economics. She has had her Senior Professional Human Resources (SPHR) certification since 2010 and SHRM Senior Certified Professional since 2015. Susan serves as Director of the Detroit SHRM Resource Partners and has been a member of SHRM since 2004.
Karen Lannoo, SPHR, VP of Client Services
Karen brings over 25 years of experience in Human Resources, working within the healthcare, automotive, financial and consulting industries. She has held various HR positions, improving the areas of federal compliance, EEO, HRIS and HR processes. She provides consulting guidance for HR compliance with the U.S Department of Labor, EEOC and the OFCCP. Karen partners with federal contractors during OFCCP audits to ensure the Affirmative Action Plan & Program is presented accurately and effectively, mitigating risk to the employer. She provides EEO guidance and support assisting with compliance obligations and increasing employee awareness of EEO laws which may reduce behaviors that lead to civil rights complaints and litigation. She has a passion for people and process improvements helping stabilize HR and provides guidance and support to client companies. Karen earned her Master of Science in Administration degree with a concentration in Human Resources from Central Michigan University. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Michigan State University. In addition, she has been a certified Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) since 2007. She is a member of SHRM.
Lameese Lirato, Director of Business Development
Lameese brings over 20 years of combined experience in human resources within automotive sector as well as construction, healthcare and HR consulting to small size companies to her role as Director of Business Development at QuadWest. Ms. Lirato brings high energy, professionalism, and a spirit of service to her work with clients and her team. Her primary focus is to build awareness about QuadWest’s unique services among prospective clients, and to develop and maintain relationships with current and past clients. As an advocate of the company’s vision, she serves to enrich the strength and performance of organizations by creating thriving organizational cultures, while fulfilling their unique human resources and compliance needs. As a former Senior Human Resources Business Leader with Global Tier 1 Automotive Suppliers, Lameese thrived on her passion in partnering with business executives and helped them impact their bottom line with sound HR solutions, continuous improvement and exceptional customer service. Lameese has earned a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Business Management and is an active member of Society of Human Resources Detroit Chapter. Her focus is to continue to build a strong human resource-consulting infrastructure to accommodate the company’s fast growth while maintaining strong relationships.
Andrea Walz, PHR, Human Resources Business Partner
Andrea brings over 14 years of human resources experience. Andrea’s expertise includes talent management, organizational development, and leadership and management coaching. Her career began as a Healthcare Recruiter in the staffing industry. In 2000, Andrea went to work for CitiMortgage to continue to work in recruiting. Andrea was responsible for hiring for all positions within the organization from management to hourly staff. In 2004, Andrea joined Pinnacle Airlines as a Human Resource Generalist. In this role she was responsible for supporting the management team to resolve employee relations issues. During her time at Pinnacle Airlines, Andrea held numerous open houses to recruit flight attendants hiring approximately 20 per month. Andrea also worked with management in the pilot interview program. In 2006, Andrea took the position of Human Resources Manager at Henry Ford Village supporting an employee population of 200. s. Andrea received her Bachelor’s Degree in Clinical Psychology from University of Michigan. Andrea has been a member of the Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM) since 2004 and she has been a Certified Professional in Human Resources (PHR) since 2006. Andrea also holds certification as a paralegal (CP) since 2009.
Jennifer Talwar, Human Resources Business Partner
Jennifer Dina joins QuadWest Associates as a Human Resources Business Partner bringing nineteen years’ worth of experience in Human Resources in various industries, to include manufacturing, automotive, health care and the staffing industry. She is a proud graduate of Wayne State University, with a Master’s degree in Employment and Labor Relations, and graduated from Oakland University with a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Development. Jennifer also maintains her Professional in Human Resources Certification (PHR). She has been a manager and mentor of others new in the field of Human Resources, and has broad generalist experience to include recruitment of executive through non-exempt roles, immigration coordination, safety, benefits administration, payroll, training and compliance. Jennifer is also familiar with ISO and QS standards. She enjoys working with clients to support their goals and develop or enhance their HR practices. Jennifer is looking forward to continuing to build relationships with clients and her QuadWest team.
Gabrielle Rizzo, Human Resources Coordinator
Gabrielle recently graduated from Michigan State University in the Spring of 2015 with a degree in Sociology. She joined the QuadWest Team as an HR Coordinator in September of 2015. She has been interested in Human Resources since High School and has worked in various HR settings prior to QuadWest, including an HR internship with Plymouth Technology, and working as an HR Assistant with Allegra Direct Communications. She has also worked in various Administrative Assistant positions. Gabrielle’s responsibilities at QuadWest include supporting SR Business Partners with recruiting, handbook research and updates, salary surveys, I-9 Audits, personnel file audits and more. She looks forward to continue growing into her role at QuadWest.
Vincent Iaconis, HR Coordinator
Vincent graduated from Central Michigan University in 2015 with a Bachelor of Science in psychology. He is currently pursuing a Master’s in Human Resources Management from Walsh College with an expected graduation in early 2018. Prior to QuadWest, he gained experience as a Hiring Coordinator for a home health care agency as well as a human resources internship with a technology firm. He has a passion for integrating various philosophies of human resources and human capital management into his work. It is Vincent’s goal to direct strategic Human Resources initiatives in order to foster lasting systemic benefit. He looks forward to continuing to learn and master the HR function alongside the team at QuadWest.
Darrian Garmo, HR Coordinator
Darrian graduated from Oakland University in 2016 with a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management. She joined the QuadWest team as an HR Coordinator in September of 2017. Darrian brings over 2 years of Human Resource experience from her previous position as well as her Human Resource internship. She supports the QuadWest team in a variety of tasks including recruitment, policy review and handbook updates. Darrian is excited to expand her knowledge and experience as she continues to grow with the QuadWest team.
Rowland Austin, Director
After attending Miami University, Western Michigan University and post graduate studiesin the MBA program of Michigan State University Rowland started his career in Human Resources on the General Motors Corporate Labor Relations Staff. He then accepted a position with the Oldsmobile Division human resources staff in Lansing Michigan where he held various positions in manufacturing, labor relations, safety, salaried personnel administration and employee benefits. During the time he was in Lansing he, along with two employment law attorneys, founded Management Impact a human resource consulting firm. Most of his activities with Management Impact during that time involved teaching and conducting seminars on various human resource topics with Chambers of Commerce thru out Michigan and the Graduate School of Business at MSU. We are pleased that Rowland has joined the QuadWest team. His vast experience and knowledge will prove to be of value to QuadWest clients in helping manage their human assets.
